Wondering how we choose our range of luxury apartments? There are a few steps to finding the best accommodation in Cheltenham:
It may be that a property comes onto the market, or a local landlord/estate agent will get in touch with us about an apartment they would like us to manage on their behalf.
We don’t take any old property. In fact, we’re particular in the best way so that our guests can quite literally, sleep easy.
We consider a few factors at this stage such as location, facilities, and size. We may rule out an apartment outright if we know it doesn’t meet our standards right away e.g. it’s not in the right location.
If on paper it looks like it could be a good fit, we visit the apartment to check that it’s up to our high-quality standards (which we will get into further later).
Despite the many properties we see, only a few make the final cut. That’s because we’re fussy on your behalf so that when you stay with us you’re guaranteed a wonderful stay.
Location is one of the key factors for us in deciding whether to add a property to our portfolio.
We love Cheltenham, and all of our serviced apartments are based here. As local experts, we also know which areas of Cheltenham are the most desirable; whether the location showcases Cheltenham’s stunning regency architecture, or is within walking distance of Cheltenham’s boutique shops and independent bars and restaurants, we only choose apartments in the best locations.
We also consider nearby parking options as all of our apartments include parking as standard.
To provide some examples, we have Pump Room apartment which is right next to the beautiful Pittville Park, Glensanda which is next to Montpellier Gardens where local festivals such as the Literature festival are held, and 39 Rodney Road House which is just a minute’s walk from the High Street.
In addition to the location, we check that the apartment interiors are nicely decorated and comfortable so that our guests can quite literally, sleep easy.
Here are some factors we consider when looking at the interior of a potential apartment:
Given that our apartments are often used for long-term stays, comfort is not just important but essential. We check that the furniture is comfortable so that guests can comfortably relax on the sofa in the evenings and enjoy a good night’s sleep.
We also consider if the apartment feels like a home; each of our apartments is unique – some may be modern, others more traditional, but all of them have a style that makes them feel like a home away from home.
Here are three examples that showcase just how diverse our apartments can be:
This 2-bedroom apartment combines modern and traditional, with furnishings in a modern grey and black colour palette, but with traditional features such as decorative architraves and original wall features.
This cosy 2-bedroom apartment has modern interior decor, with pink, gold and cream furnishings. A light and bright feel versus Lansdown Malvern’s luxurious but moody design.
This large 5-bedroom townhouse has a very unique interior design, featuring a bold red, blue and gold colour palette in the living room. The regal, British Countryside aesthetic continues throughout the house, complimented by various antiques.
As you can see, although each property has its own unique design, each one is full of character, especially when compared to a plain cookie-cutter hotel room.
We choose apartments that are spacious. Our serviced apartments are actually bigger than hotel rooms on average.
We look to keep a balanced portfolio of apartments with varying bedroom numbers so that we have options suitable for both solo travellers and families.
We look for modern facilities in our apartments, particularly looking at the bathrooms and kitchens to make sure these have nice fittings. Our apartments will also have laundry appliances so that you will be able to wash your own laundry which is ideal for longer-term stays.
