There’s lots to do in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire throughout the festive period including ice skating, the Pantomime, various Christmas markets, and beautiful Christmas light displays.

Cheltenham is known as “the Festival town” and Christmas time is no exception, with the Christmas Craft Festival and the Christmas Wine Festival making appearances in November and December.

There are many fun activities to enjoy, from creating your own Christmas wreaths with a festive afternoon tea, to going on a steam train to visit Santa at the North Pole. And then of course, there are lots of options for Christmas shopping, with Cheltenham having many popular retail chains and boutique shops for a varied Christmas shopping experience. For unique gifts, why not explore the art galleries that Cheltenham has available? There are over six gallery options in Montpellier alone!

If you want a festive evening activity, you can experience The Studio Orchestra recreating Christmas at the movies, playing classic festive tracks from Harry Potter, Home Alone, and more. There are many opportunities to admire Christmas lights, whether in Cheltenham town centre or exploring nearby Christmas light tours.

If you’re celebrating New Year’s in Cheltenham, numerous NYE options exist, including a Masquerade Ball. There is also the option to enjoy New Year’s Day at Cheltenham Racecourse. You can watch the races or enjoy the family fun zone with bouncy castles, face painting, and special appearances from children’s favourites, such as Paddington Bear.

Very clear and timely communications with the office at all stages… Even with a last minute change on some logistics. Felt like a real home from home.

    Luxury Apartments provided us with a home away from home

    We recently relocated to Cheltenham from overseas. While we looked for a home and waited for our household goods to arrive we needed temporary housing. Luxury Apartments provided us with a home away from home. We stayed there a little over a month and it was lovely. The apartment had everything we needed from appliances to washing up-liquid all in a very clean and cozy environment. It was comfortable, spacious, family-friendly and the staff provided us with all the help we needed to acclimate to our new city. I would highly recommend using Luxury Apartments if you are looking for a place to stay!

    I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Luxury Apartments Cheltenham to anyone. The apartment we stayed in was lovely and so well equipped. Customer service is amazing with very quick response via email or on phone. We will definitely be using luxury apartments again on our next visit to Cheltenham.

    It is well equipped, very clean and extremely comfortable

    After having a number of overseas trips cancelled we like many others decided to holiday in the UK. We had never been to the Cotswolds and thanks to Luxury Serviced Apartments they found us an ideal property in Cheltenham. The apartment was on Queens Parade and is a charming 2 bedroom in the lovely Montpellier district. The apartment is well located for Cheltenham itself and for exploring further afield. It is well equipped, very clean and extremely comfortable. Also the service from Dan and Rachel was impeccable. We look forward to returning as we had a fantastic week here.
