The Cheltenham Music Festival celebrates the art of classical music and has been doing so for almost 80 years since its launch date in 1945! 

The festival celebrates classics and contemporary pieces alike, and there is something for all ages to enjoy. The Music Festival sets up in Cheltenham’s popular Montpellier Gardens and takes advantage of the beautiful Cotswolds to create a magical musical tour for classical music lovers. 

It’s not just Montpellier Gardens – the heart of the Music Festival – that is atmospheric, you’ll discover roaming bands around Cheltenham town centre, such as the High Street, Promenade, and Imperial Gardens. From a Rajasthan Heritage Brass band to New Orleans Jazz band covering pop, soul, and funk tracks in a vintage swing style, there are different styles of music to discover and enjoy.

This popular Cheltenham festival runs during the heart of summer, so you can relax in the sunshine whilst participating and cool down with a beverage from one of the drink stalls onsite. Food stalls can grab a bite to eat, sit at one of the pop-up benches or bring a blanket to create a picnic in the pretty Montpellier Gardens. You can then enjoy an evening meal and drinks on the Promenade across the road from the festival.

The flat itself was lovely, very good size and well kept and tastefully furnished. Would highly recommend Luxury to anyone looking for a great stay with a great experience!
