By participating in L’Occitane’s Eco-Refill Programme, we’ve significantly reduced our use of single-use plastics. It’s a small change with a big impact, and it reflects a shared vision we have with L’Occitane. Their sustainability goals include:

  • Designing 100% of product formulas with at least 95% biodegradable ingredients by 2030

  • Sourcing key ingredients like shea butter, almond, and immortelle sustainably

  • Using 100% recycled plastic in packaging and offering refill options for 25% of their products by 2025

  • Investing in biodiversity and reforestation efforts worldwide

Supporting Global Climate Solutions Through Ecologi

We’re also proud to use our platform to contribute to climate action. That’s why we’ve partnered with Ecologi, a UK-based social enterprise that funds real, impactful climate solutions.

For every booking made with us, we plant one tree. It’s a simple promise that adds up — we’ve already supported six reforestation projects across Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar, Uganda, and Tanzania. These initiatives restore biodiversity and help remove CO₂ from the atmosphere.

But Ecologi’s impact doesn’t stop there. They also support:

  • Carbon avoidance through renewable wind and solar energy

  • Wetland and mangrove restoration

  • Wildlife habitat protection

  • Sustainable agriculture development

We’re based in a town that’s serious about sustainability. Plastic-Free Communities, founded by Surfers Against Sewage, has been helping Cheltenham reduce single-use plastic since 2017 — and we proudly support this movement.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to our online presence. The internet is a surprisingly large contributor to global emissions — releasing an estimated 1.7 billion tonnes of CO₂ annually — so we’ve made conscious choices about how our website is built and hosted.

We partnered with Sozo Design, a Cheltenham-based digital agency that shares our environmental values. Together, we ensure our digital presence is just as green as our physical one.

Sozo helps us lower our web-based carbon footprint by:

  • Hosting our site on servers powered by renewable energy

  • Creating energy-efficient, fast-loading pages that use less data

  • Offsetting carbon emissions through a dedicated programme

  • Supporting Ecologi projects — just like we do
